AACC Summer Classes Beat Fall Tuition, Fee Hikes

June 16, 2011
Education

There’s still time to earn college credits at Anne Arundel Community College this summer before fall tuition and fee hikes take effect. During the July 5-Aug. 6 final summer session, the cost of a typical three-credit summer course will remain at $317 compared to the new fall rate of $332. Traditional classes, online classes and hybrid classes, which blend in-class and online sessions, are available.

More than 70 courses are offered online in this final summer session and range in length from two-six weeks. Online offerings include introductory classes in business, criminal justice, oral communication, human services, psychology and sociology. Among the courses offered in a traditional classroom that remain open for enrollment during this session are “Elementary Arabic 2” (ARB 112), “Elementary Spanish 1” (SPA 111), “Personal and Community Health” (HEA 111) and “World Regional Geography” (GEO 102).
