Schedule time this fall to visit Anne Arundel Community College and see its active Arnold campus, explore academic options and get information about enrolling in the October session, winter two-week session and spring sessions.
Now celebrating its 50th Anniversary, AACC is an affordable college option. The college’s award-winning programs serve 53,000 credit and noncredit students annually at the Arnold campus, AACC at Arundel Mills, the Glen Burnie Town Center and about 90 neighborhood locations.
This fall, AACC will offer weekday and Saturday information sessions twice each month through November on the Arnold campus. These 30-minute sessions offer an overview of academic programs, how to enroll, financial aid and scholarship options. In addition, individual credit and continuing professional education programs such as the Nursing program, Culinary Arts program and Welding program routinely host open houses to spotlight upcoming classes, introduce faculty members and review admission requirements.
Upcoming weekday AACC Information Sessions will take place at 5 p.m. Sept. 7 in the Center for Applied Learning and Technology (CALT) Room 107, at 4 p.m. Oct. 5 or Nov. 9 in Florestano Building (FLRS) Room 101 and at 1 p.m. Nov. 21 in FLRS 101. Saturday sessions are at 10 a.m. in CALT 107 on Sept. 24 or Oct. 29 or Nov. 19.
AACC also offers free one-hour guided campus walking tours through Campus Information and Visitor Services. Find out about group tours, Saturday tours, virtual tours, customized tours and more. Or, take a narrated tour using your iPod or mp3 player; instructions are online.
