Anne Arundel Community College is offering three information sessions this fall to explain its Prior Learning Assessment initiative, which involves the award of college credit for prior learning experiences gained on the job or through military service, community or volunteer activities, hobbies, noncredit courses or in other ways.
The 10-11 a.m. “Get the Credit You Deserve” Saturday sessions take place at the Center for Applied Learning and Technology Room 107 on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Sessions are free. Choose from one of three dates: Oct. 8, Nov. 5 or Dec. 3.
Learn about the different means of prior learning assessment used at AACC and how to document your knowledge or skills when applying for an award of college credit. Find out if you are eligible for prior learning assessment and how it can save you time and money. Learn the steps in the process and whether this is an option you would like to pursue.
