Craft and jewelry enthusiasts can create an unusual decorative metal clay pendant for gift-giving this holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Anne Arundel Community College class “Precious Metal Clay” (CFT-305.)
Register by phone, online or in person by Nov. 15 for this noncredit, continuing education class. The session runs 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Center for Applied Learning and Technology Room 132 on the Arnold campus. Using a copper clay product, participants will shape or model the clay into a design that, when fired in a kiln, transforms into permanent metal. Enjoy working on your project all day, with a short break for lunch. Bagged lunches are encouraged.
The class cost of $129 includes all materials. Class size is limited to seven students so register quickly. For information on registration or the class, contact the AACC continuing education office at 410 777 2325 or register in person or online at www.aacc.edu/noncredit.
