Earn a Degree or Certificate Just on the Weekends

      You can complete five degrees or seven certificate programs by enrolling in online classes and attending school only on the weekends through Anne Arundel Community College’s weekend college, WEEKENDYOU.

      Weekend classes run from Friday evenings through Sundays and allow students who have weekday work and family obligations to continue their college education.

      To earn a degree in just two years, sign up for both weekend and online courses and enroll in 12 credits each fall and spring term and in eight credits in the summer. Options include degrees in Transfer Studies, Business Administration Transfer, Business Management, Computer Information Systems: Personal Computer Systems Technology. and Computer Information Systems: Programming/Analysis. Certificates include Transfer Studies, Business Management, Computer Specialist, Database Administrator and Personal Trainer.

      Registration is under way for the spring 2012 term. Choose from 82 WEEKENDYOU courses, such as biology, chemistry and physical science courses with labs; business and accounting; computer technology; homeland security, law and criminal justice; teacher education; art, dance and music; and several general education courses in English, mathematics, history, psychology, sociology and health.
