March 8, 2013
Yes, prospective college students, there will be a College Fair this year at Anne Arundel Community College. You can meet in person with representatives from 100 colleges from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the annual College Fair in AACC’s David S. Jenkins Gymnasium.
The College Fair was rescheduled for March 13 after predictions of inclement weather on its original date.
Co-sponsored by AACC and the Anne Arundel County Public Schools, this free event allows students to explore higher education options, gather and compare data and visit with university representatives, all in one place.
In one evening, you can start your college search, narrow your choices or select a school. Meet with and ask two- and four-year-college representatives about admission requirements; programs of study; tuition costs and financial aid opportunities; campus life; and upcoming tours and info sessions for prospective students.
You also can choose to start your higher education at AACC where you can save money, get a world-class education, run with a sports program, and join academic and recreational clubs, performing groups, attend concerts and more.
Parking is free. The College Fair is at David S. Jenkins Gymnasium on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. For information, call 410-777-1999 or visit www.aacc.edu. Call Disability Support Services at 410-777-2306 or Maryland Relay 711, 72 hours in advance to request most accommodations.
