Earn Cash for Your Trinkets at AACC Yard Sale

April 22, 2014

Find or sell treasures, trinkets, furniture and more at Anne Arundel Community College’s 10th Annual Community Yard Sale from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 31, on the Arnold campus.

The event takes place rain or shine and is free for yard sale shoppers, who traditionally find lots of bargains from household décor to exercise equipment, clothing, jewelry, toys, tools and furniture.

Sign up for yard sale table space early and save. Early birds registering on or before May 23 for space, which includes one table, pay $25. Spaces with tables reserved May 24-May 31 cost $30. Additional tables cost $5 each. No food vendors are allowed; Arundel House of Hope’s Doughy Dog will be providing refreshments for sale, with proceeds benefitting Arundel House of Hope. A Goodwill Truck will be on site at noon to collect unwanted items at the end of the day.

The yard sale is in parking lot F, which is easily accessible off Gov. Ritchie Highway (Route 2) and West Campus Drive. In case of rain, the sale will move indoors to two adjacent buildings, the Cade Center for Fine Arts and the Center for Applied Learning and Technology. To reserve a space, call AACC Event Services at 410-777-2724 or 410-777-2614 or visit the AACC Events website. The Arnold campus is at 101 College Parkway.
