It’s Not Too Late to Attend an Orientation at AACC

Aug. 14, 2014

New students can prepare for success at Anne Arundel Community College by attending one of its fall-term orientations. Learn about student services, college activities and resources and programs available to boost your academic experience.

The remaining orientations are Aug. 18 – 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Aug. 22 – 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Aug. 29, 1 p.m., all in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the AACC Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Register for an orientation ahead of time by going to the website, www.aacc.edu/orientation.

There is no longer an orientation on Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. for military and veteran students as previously posted. Any students who are veterans or who in the military may contact the New Student Engagement office at 410-777-2888 or email orientation@aacc.edu to learn about additional programs for service personnel or should plan to attend another session.

Weekend classes begin Aug. 23. The fall 15-week and first eight-week sessions begin Aug. 25. Most returning students can register online at https://portal.aacc.edu.  Or, sign up for credit or noncredit classes at www.aacc.edu/register/default.cfm.

For information, visit www.aacc.edu or call 410-777-AACC (2222).
