AACC's office of Lifelong Learning in partnership with Anne Arundel county nonprofit organizations, has for the past decade identified and offered trainings to NPO organizations and community leaders from the private and public sector. Areas of study include leadership development in fundraising, grant writing, marketing an organization, building and strengthening boards, team building, event planning, and maintaining fiscal fitness. Training on volunteerism offers sessions on recruiting, placing, supervising and evaluating volunteers as well as a course on mentoring. A limited number of scholarships are available annually through the generous assistance of The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County's Celebration of Philanthropy initiative.
