What is my first step?

How long does it take to complete the program?
Students attending full time can complete all general education and nursing curriculum requirements in three years.
Can I transfer courses from other colleges or universities?
Prerequisite and general education courses with a grade of "C" or better are transferable provided the course is consistent with one of our offerings. This is determined by the Records and Registration Office at AACC. The Nursing department Director must approve transfer of credits from another nursing program. Nursing program credits must have been taken within the past two years.
What is the advantage of choosing an associate degree nursing program rather than a bachelor's degree program?
Where do students get clinical experience?
Clinical experience is received in hospitals on acute medical-surgical, obstetrical, pediatric and critical care units, emergency rooms and operating rooms; in extended care and rehabilitation facilities; with home health and community health agencies; and in psychiatric facilities.
