AACC's nursing school is committed to supporting students facing the challenges associated with the first semester of nursing school by providing opportunities for mentorships.

Mentoring is a mutually beneficial relationship in which an experience person assists another in developing specific skills and knowledge that will enhance the less-experienced person's professional and personal growth.

Why become a mentor?
A mentorship can be an important factor in a student’s success. Becoming a mentor is a satisfying and rewarding. You can make a difference. You’ll also solidify your own knowledge and skills. You might be surprised what you get out of it!

Why become a mentee?
As a mentee, you will benefit from additional guidance to develop decision-making skills, enhance interpersonal skills and recognize strengths and weaknesses. You will also gain a greater awareness of opportunities and activities that can broaden your educational experiences.
