Orientation Appointment and Session Information

New Student Orientation is offered in various formats and at different times during the year. You are assigned a session based upon when you are admitted to the college and when you register for classes.

  • Large group sessions are scheduled in January and August.
  • If you register for AACC classes in the fall, November or December, you will be invited to attend an orientation session in January. 
  • If you register for AACC classes in your high school in April or May, you will be offered a small group session during June.
  • If you register for classes in June or early July, you may be offered a small group session in July. 
  • If you register after the first week of July, you will receive an invitation in the mail to attend a large group session held in August. 

2009 January Orientation Sessions for New Students

Access driving directions to AACC or to take a Virtual Tour of the campus. Reserve a seat on the Orientation Web site. Pick one session and please remain for the entire session.

ARNOLD CAMPUS SESSIONS - Pascal Theater

  • Monday, January 12
    Students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should attend on this day. 
    • Morning Session: 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
    • Afternoon Session: 2–4:30 p.m.
    • Evening Session:  6–8:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday, January 13
    Students enrolled in a career or technical program should attend on this day.
    • Morning Session: 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
    • Afternoon Session: 2–4:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, January 15
    Jump Start students should attend on this day, but may attend on Monday or Tuesday. 
    • One session: 2–4:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, January 15
    Adult Student Session
    • One Session: 8– 9:30 p.m.
      Adult Students are invited to arrive early and receive help accessing their MYAACC accounts in the Technology Learning Center located on the bottom floor of the Truxal Library. Recent high school graduates should not attend the Adult Orientation session. The information is geared toward the issues and needs of working, adult students.

  • Saturday, February 14*
    These sessions are geared to all student groups. 
    • Morning Session: 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
    • Afternoon Session: 1:30–3:30 p.m.

Please reserve a seat at the Orientation Web site. 

  • Saturday, January 17
    • Morning Session: 10 a.m.–12 p.m. noon
    • Afternoon Session: 1:30–3:30 p.m.

You may also contact  us at 410-777-2888 or e-mail us at orientation@aacc.edu if you require an accommodation. We must receive your request for an accommodation at least 72 hours in advance of the orientation session. Please reserve a seat for the session you plan to attend.
