Step 3: Submitting a Complete PA Application

The AACC PA Admission Process for the 2012-2013 cycle has changed.
Please follow the below information to apply for the PA Class of 2015
(applicants selected will begin classes in May 2013).

CASPA Application & Instructions

All applicants must apply online through CASPA, the 2012-2013 portal will open April 18, 2012. CASPA is a convenient, Web-based application service that allows applicants to submit an application to our Physician Assistant Program and is received by AACC’s Health Professions Admissions Office. Please ensure you have the following:

  • Official transcripts/evaluations that verify all for-credit coursework (including undergraduate, graduate and doctorate coursework).  Courses that do not have a final grade on the CASPA application will be considered incomplete and updated transcripts will not be verified by CASPA or accepted by AACC after submission of the application.
  • Listed patient contact experience. AACC admissions staff will randomly contact listed supervisors to verify hours reported on CASPA application.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
  • Verified CASPA applications must be received by the AACC PA Admission Staff by September 1, 2012. It is strongly recommended to submit your CASPA application by July 1, 2012 to ensure that the application is completed, verified and sent electronically to AACC by the deadline. It is the applicant's responsibility to make sure that the CASPA application is complete and received by AACC. Applications that do not reflect all of the program requirements (such as conferred bachelor's degree, listed prerequisites with grades, GPA requirements, etc.) will not be considered complete and qualified for further consideration.

Following the Review of CASPA Applications

All verified CASPA applications will be reviewed and notification regarding application status will be sent via e-mail. If applications have met all of the program requirements and are eligible for consideration, an AACC PA Supplemental Application will be sent to applicants via email to be completed and returned with a Supplemental Application Fee of $25.00.

Applicants should contact PAadmissions@aacc.edu if an e-mail regarding application status has not been received a month after the date the CASPA application was verified.

Once you have reviewed the information on this page,
please see
Step 4 for information regarding the selection process.
