Public Health Professions Program

The Public Health Professions Associate of Science Degree is for students interested in pursuing public health or health care management and transferring to a four-year institution or gaining personal enrichment. Students complete General Education Requirements and select from one of two educational tracks, Public Health or Health Care Management.

Total Credit Hours: a minimum of 60 credits hours.

Program Requirements: A grade of C or better in all Public Health Professions Core Requirements is required to progress in the program. Please note the Public Health option requires completion of a service learning assignment/general community service project. Students in the Public Health option may also be required to complete a criminal background check.

Anne Arundel Community College is working with the University of Baltimore Health Systems Management Program to create a seamless transfer opportunity for students in the Public Health Professions program, who maintain a C or better and complete all relevant coursework.

The college will award an Associate of Science degree A.S. at the completion of training.
