Darrell Wallace joined the College on March 22, 1991. He began his career with the Anne Arundel Community College Department of Public Safety as a public safety officer. In 1999, after serving eight years in patrol, he was promoted to Corporal and formally assumed the role as the midnight shift supervisor. Darrell was promoted to Sergeant in 2001 and assigned as the evening shift commander and fleet coordinator. In 2008, Darrell was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned as the day work shift commander.
Lt. Wallace’s knowledge and experience is instrumental in training and supervising his officers allowing them to provide quality service to the college community on a daily bases.
Darrell received a Certificate in Law Enforcement from Anne Arundel Community College. He has received specialized training in police supervision and management from the Maryland Police Training Commission, the International Association of Chief’s of Police and the Public Agency Teaching Council. He is also a graduate of the Police Executive Development Program at Penn State University.
