There is a group of thieves who operate out of Baltimore City who will walk into offices looking for purses and wallets, which are not secured. They will use the excuse of checking for leaks in the ceiling tiles or say they are looking for a job application. They target colleges/universities because of the volume of people and the number of unsecured offices and desks.
