Department of Public Safety - Emergency Phones

AACC's emergency telephone system can place a caller in direct contact with a Public Safety dispatcher 24 hours a day. These phones are highly visible stainless steel phone towers (blue or red) or wall mounted units (blue, red, yellow and silver) with strobe lights. These phones have been placed at various locations around campus.

The phones have a single button connection that will immediately notify the dispatcher of the caller's location. The caller can speak directly into the phone box for hands-free communications. These phones can be used for any emergency and to report/request the following:

• CRIMES CAR TROUBLE
• SUSPICIOUS PERSONS            
• MEDICAL PROBLEMS
• RECOVERED PROPERTY             
• ESCORT SERVICE                   
• INFORMATION
• BUILDING/ROOM ACCESS ( WEEKENDS  -  AFTER  HOURS)
