From Washington or Annapolis
Take Route 50 east to exit 27, Route 2 north (Governor Ritchie Highway) toward Baltimore. Stay on Route 2 for about three miles. Turn right on College Parkway. Enter campus at the second right turn at College Drive. Turn at the first left turn for the Central Services Building (next to the Historic Barn). Park in front of the building, enter through the double-glass doors and the Public Safety office is on the immediate left. The officer at the front window can assist you.
From Baltimore
From Interstate 695 take exit 2, Route 10 toward Severna Park. Stay on
Route 10 until it ends at Route 2 (Governor Ritchie Highway). Follow Route 2 south about five miles. Turn left on College Parkway. Enter campus at the second right turn at College Drive. Turn at the first left turn for the Central Services Building (next to the Historic Barn). The Department has partnered with Cogent Fingerprinting Services to become an authorized private provider to submit fingerprints directly to the Maryland Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) for the purpose of obtaining criminal history record checks. Starting in March of 2012, all fingerprinting had to be conducted through “Live Scan Fingerprinting.” Five public safety staff members were trained and certified by CJIS in “Techniques of Fingerprinting” and are qualified to fingerprint applicants needing to have their fingerprints taken for background checks for employment or licensing purposes. This service is also offered to the public.
Fingerprint services are available by appointment, and "walk-ins" are accepted during LiveScan Hours. Accepted methods of payment for LiveScan services are money orders or certified check.
Cash, credit/debit cards and personal checks will NOT be accepted.
