The Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) Purchasing Department is responsible for the procurement of all equipment, services, materials, and supplies utilized by the college.

Individual departments or employees are not authorized to enter into purchase contracts or to, in any way, obligate the College for procurement indebtedness without a signed purchase order or an approved procurement card (P-Card) transaction.

The Purchasing Department is part of the Business & Financial Resources Office and is located in the Resource Management Building.

Board of Trustees ratify its approval of the award of contract to ABM, of New York, New York, for the procurement of contracted custodial services for the AACC at Arundel Mills
building, Glen Burnie Town Center, HCAT, Schwartz, Cade, CAL T, Dragun, Humanities, Johnson, Olsen Memorial Pool, and Pascal Center buildings.

Board of Trustees ratify the approval of the award of contract to Associated Building Maintenance, of Crofton, Maryland, for the procurement of contracted custodial services for the
Annex A, Annex B, Careers, Florestano, Jenkins Gymnasium and Student Union buildings.

Approved the award of contract for the purchase & implementation of a curriculum development and catalog production system to Digital Architecture of Lakeland, FL.

Approved the award of contract for the renewal of the college's enrollment in the Microsoft Academic Volume Licensing program from Bell Techlogix, Inc., of Columbia, MD.

Approved the award of contract for maintenance of data communications equipment to DSR, Inc., of Hanover, MD.

Approved the award of contract to Abacus Corporation of Baltimore MD, for the procurement of contracted custodial services for AACC at Arundel Mills, Glen Burnie Town Center, HCAT, Schwartz and Student Union buildings.

Approved the award of contract to ABM, of New York, NY, for the procurement of contracted custodial services for the Cade, CALT, Dragun, Humanities, Johnson, Olsen Memorial Pool and Pascal Center buildings.

Approved the award of contract to Associated Building Maintenance of Crofton, MD, for the procurement of contracted custodial services for the Annex A, Annex B, Careers, Florestano and Jenkins Gymnasium buildings.

Approved the insurance coverage recommended by Wells Fargo to be placed with Affiliated FM (property), Philadelphia Insurance (automobile, umbrella, general liability, and employee benefits liability), Travelers (crime), Hanover (inland marine), Chartis/AIG (worldwide liability and network security), United Educators (D&O/educators legal liability/employment practices liability), Hartford (accident), Nationwide Life (athletic special risk) and CNA Insurance (professional liability).

Authorized the purchase of the temporary modular building from M Space Holdings, LLC, of Park City, UT.
