Residential Appraiser License Renewal

All persons renewing their Maryland real estate appraisers licenses are required to have completed 42 hours of approved continuing education. Effective January 1, 2003, all licensed and certified appraisers must complete the 7-hour national USPAP update course, or its equivalent, at least once every two calendar years. Most courses meet once or twice for three hours on a weeknight or Saturday at Arundel Mills or Glen Burnie Town Center.

Anne Arundel Community College has partnered with McKissock Real Estate and Appraisal School to offer online Continuing Education courses in areas of Appraisal and Mortgage Lending. Online courses are approved for Continuing Education only. Please check with your DLLR representative BEFORE REGISTERING, if you have any questions about your specific Continuing Education needs and requirements.
