• Defense Activity for Nontraditional Education Support (DANTES)
• United States Armed Forces Institute
• Office of Education Credit and Credentials of the American Council on Education (ACE)
• National Cryptologic School (NCS)
•  Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI)
•  Prior Learning Assessment – new Fall 2006!

  Nontraditional Credit Earned Through Active Duty Military

• Army American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS)
• Community College of the Air Force (CCAF)
• Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART)
• Coast Guard Institute
• Defense Language Institute (DLI)
• DD-295 (or DD-214 if no longer on active duty)

 Note: A maximum of 30 credits may be earned by nontraditional credit.
