Earn Your Associate Degree Through Reverse Transfer

Are you a former community college student who transferred to a four-year institution before earning an associate degree? If you took classes at AACC but transferred to a four-year college before earning your degree, there's a good chance you may be eligible to receive an associate degree from AACC. Instead of re-enrolling at AACC, transfer the credits you've completed at your four-year college to satisfy the requirements for an associate degree. It’s much like how you transferred your community college credits to the four-year institution, just in reverse. It’s taking credit for what you already earned while still working toward your bachelor's degree!

Check out the YouTube video by the Maryland Higher Education Commission to learn more about the process!
