Preparation for Maryland Stationary Engineer Certification 2 Experienced operators learn more about high-pressure boiler systems and plant equipment and operations. Explore steam boiler operations and accessories and combustion and computer-assisted combustion controls. Learn water chemistry and treatment; basic electrical, refrigeration and HVAC systems; fire prevention and safety and exam qualifications. Textbook information available at College Bookstore. CEUs awarded. $257 includes $5 fee. Note: Prepares students for the Maryland Stationary Engineers certification examination (grades 1-3) and the NIULPE certification examination (grades 1-4).
