Intermediate Pottery Wheel Create larger, more complicated forms. Includes shaping lids for jars and containers, forming spouts for pitchers, pulling and attaching clay handles. Learn decorative techniques, how to alter forms, slip application, washes and wax resist. Enrollment limit: 5. $200+ includes $167 fee. Note: ARS 360 Basic Pottery Wheel or equivalent knowledge recommended. Bring a basic pottery tool kit, small bucket and sponge to class. Lab fee includes first 20 pounds of clay and one firing. Student responsible for additional clay and firings. Wear old work clothes, apron and closed-toe shoes.
