Try It: Colored Porcelain Learn to apply color stains, slips and oxides into raw porcelain clay. Watch demonstrations of hand building techniques, including nerikomi, millefiori and mishima, that form elaborate dishes, delicate boxes and beautiful jewelry. Enrollment limit: 6. $220+ includes $176 fee. Note: Prior clay experience helpful, but not required. Clay and one firing included. Students bring basic pottery tool kit, bucket, sponge and bib apron or small towel. Wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes.
