Inside the Global Economy

For those having no prior study of economics. Topics include why nations trade, arguments against trade, trade blocs such as NAFTA and the European Union, globalization, multinational corporations, exchange rates, developing economies, economies in transition and global issues such as environmental protection. Learn why cross-cultural understanding and tolerance is crucial to the effective functioning of a global economy. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 111.
