About the Student Association

A major responsibility of the Student Association is the allocation of Student Activity fees - money that is paid by every student who registers for credit classes. Student Activity fees are allocated for student organizations, guest speakers, student publications such as the college newspaper and literary magazine, social and recreational activities, cultural programs and tutoring services.

The Student Association represents all students, so they serve as your advocates to the administration. If you have any problems or concerns, please come to the Student Association office in SUN 206 or call 410-777-2309.

The Student Association oversees all the student clubs and organizations. They approve new clubs and assist clubs with their programs. They also sponsor programs that help all students such as the textbook loan program in the library, peer tutoring and more.

The Student Association also hosts the annual Honors and Awards Ceremony in the spring semester with the Office of Student Life.
