Teaching Assistants - Paraprofessional Training

No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation requires educational paraprofessionals to be "highly qualified." To meet this objective, the certificates listed below have been designed to both satisfy the legal requirements of NCLB and to prepare teaching assistants to better fulfill their job responsibilities.

Programs of Study

Teaching Paraprofessional Certificate - Earn this certificate by taking courses at your own pace.

Special Education Support Certificate - Earn a certificate in any of the following areas at your own pace or consider joining a Special Education Cohort that allows you to complete your certificate more quickly.
