How do I get a user name and password?

To get a user name and password, you need to request a college computer account, which provides access to MyAACC and college computers. An individual who has completed an application, registration, and/or Online Personal Identification Form will need to complete the College Account Request Form to request a user name and password.

A user name and password must be created before you can register for any continuing education noncredit class. In order to create your user name and password, please complete the Online Personal Identification Form.

Are you a current student or have you previously attended AACC? You must login through MyAACC before you can register for continuing education noncredit classes.

Regularly Scheduled System Downtime

AACC is committed to providing current and progressive technology to enhance and support the college mission. AACC provides students with access to proven state-of-the-art hardware and software, current classroom technology, Web applications, and efficient management systems to support the student experience while attending the institution. For a complete list of available technologies and services, visit the Technology Web site.

In order to provide superior service to the college community, regular maintenance is required.

Scheduled maintenance occurs on Friday evenings from 9:30 p.m. (EST) to 1 a.m. (EST). All college systems will be unavailable to students, faculty and staff during this timeframe. This includes access to e-mail, ANGEL (online, hybrid and Web-based courses), MyAACC, STARS and www.aacc.edu.

On the second Friday of every month the Self Services tab in MyAACC and STARS will be unavailable from 6:30 p.m. (EST) to 1:30 a.m. (EST).
The Friday maintenance periods were selected to minimize the impact on learning.

Taking your first online credit course?

All students enrolled in courses using the learning management system, ANGEL, will have access to an online orientation. The orientation introduces you to the tools and features of the LMS, as well as provides you with tips and strategies for being successful in the online environment. On the first day of class, access your course and click on the Orientation tab in the upper right hand corner of your course homepage.

First-time online students are automatically "enrolled" in the online orientation, and will have access to it early through MyAACC. To access the orientation, click on the My Courses tab and click on the Virtual Campus Student Orientation title to open the orientation. To best be prepared for your online course, complete the orientation prior to your online course start date.
