Report: Maryland High Schools Rank #1 in Newsweek Study
According to a June 19, 2009 article, "Mid-Atlantic Excellence" in Newsweek magazine, Newsweek released its own analysis of its annual "America's Top High Schools," which identified the most challenging high schools in the country.  Maryland had the highest percentage (29.5 percent) of high schools and students taking college-level tests.
