Academic Support - TLC Rules

Thanks for following the rules of the TLC at the Arnold campus. Please let us know if you have any questions.

AACC Official College Policies

ATTENTION ALL TLC USERS:

All TLC users are required to abide by the following rules; to ensure a comfortable learning environment for all, a reliable virus free network and sufficient supplies:

  • Everyone is required to sign in at the front desk before using these computers.
  • Absolutely, no food or drinks in the lab!
  • Do not display inappropriate materials on the computer desktops – including but not limited to images, e-mails, music, and text!
  • Do not save any files to these computers.
  • Do not install any software - including but not limited to yahoo messenger, games, etc!
  • No computer games allowed.
  • Do not move the machines.
  • Printing is limited to only 10 pages.

VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION. 
Please request to see full official rules, or the college catalog, at front desk for further clarifications.

Remember:
1.   AACC students working on class assignments have priority when using any of the computers and including the scanner. Please limit time to 30 minutes when using the scanner computer. TLC stations 1 & 2 prioritized for use for students with a Diagnosed Special Need (ADA).
2.  Please ask the Lab Technician for help or directions.
3.  Always logout and Exit the MyAACC windows,
for your personal academic information security.
4.  Headphones and Zip Drives are available for checkout at the front desk.
5.  Please Recycle by using the recycling box next to each printer.
6.  Upstairs on the second and third floors are books, magazines, reserved items, library cards, public-students' copiers, and other resources.
