Aging Studies (Gerontology) is the study of human aging and older adults. A gerontologist is trained to understand the physical, biological, psychological, social and cultural aspects of aging. A gerontologist may be employed in business, recreation, government, health services, housing, research and development, law, medicine or myriad other occupational niches.
