Provides a knowledge of network technology and management, and prepares students who have an interest in pursuing or furthering their careers in installing, repairing and/or administering today’s local and wide area networks. The program incorporates a thorough study of voice and data communication fundamentals together with an indepth study of current networking architectures and protocols.

Today’s client/server and peer networks are specifically studied together with hands-on laboratory time for the actual installation of a Novell client/server network. The combination of lecture and labs provides the basis for potential networking certification in today’s most popular networking operating systems.
