Payment Plans
It is the philosophy of the college that no student should be restricted from attending because of limited financial resources. There are numerous programs to assist you in meeting your financial obligations to AACC. The tuition payment plan is only one of those options.
INTEREST-FREE TUITION PAYMENT PLAN - CREDIT CLASSES ONLY
You must pay your tuition charges and fees by the scheduled due dates. The first payment due date is the date of registration with a grace period of only about 3 calendar days. Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, money order, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and debit card. Cash and ATM debit card payments accepted only at Arnold Campus. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Anne Arundel Community College. They should be made out in the exact amount of the payment due and should include the student's name and student account number.
If you register for credit classes by any means and do not submit either payment or have documented and approved tuition assistance or financial aid, you are risking drop for nonpayment within about 3 calendar days after your initial term registration. Tuition Assistance may need to be updated each new term. Contact the Cashier's Office for more information. Contact Financial Aid regarding any possible updates necessary per term.
The college offers an interest-free tuition payment plan for all credit classes. You are automatically on this payment plan by paying at least the minimum amount due on your bill at the time of registration and then make the rest of the payments in convenient installments on the scheduled due dates. If paying on the payment plan and the amount due is not met in full for that date, there is a $10 late fine assessed. There is no longer an Automatic Payment Plan by which AACC takes your payments automatically by credit card. Call the Cashier's Office, 410-777-2236, for details. See menu of Important Links at the left and select the term for which you are planning to enroll to learn about the different payment schedules. New payment plan for 2012 Winter.
