Q: Which courses can I get help with at the Math Tutoring Lab?
A:
Tutors can help with beginning level math (such as algebra) through advanced math (such as Calculus II).

Q: Where are the Math Tutoring Labs?
A:
There are now two labs.

  • Arundel Mills Math Lab, AMIL 002
    • open Monday-Thursday
    • staffed by AACC faculty
    • no appointment is necessary

  • Arnold Campus Drop-In Math Lab, LIBR 107 
    • open Monday-Saturday
    • staffed by peer tutors and AACC math instructors who assist with beginning through advanced level mathematics skills

Q: Who works at the Math Tutoring Lab?
A: Both AACC math instructors and peer tutors staff the lab. Tutors can be differentiated from students by their name tags.

Q: How will the Math Lab tutors help me?
A:
Tutors will help you go over example problems to aid you in understanding concepts. Tutors will not assist with or edit graded assignments.

Q: When are the Math Tutoring Labs Open?
A:
The lab schedules changes every semester.

Q: Do I need an appointment?
A:
No, the lab does not schedule visits. You will be helped on a first come, first serve basis.
