Welcome to the Interactive Classroom
Anne Arundel Community College has two interactive classrooms:
In order to make your class experience pleasant, remember to:
Sit where there is a microphone.
If possible choose a seat in the center of the room.
Speak clearly into the microphone.
Identify yourself by name and site. For example, "This is Jane at Anne Arundel," or "This is Bob at Howard/Towson."
Avoid any side conversations (the microphones are always "live" and your comments will be heard at all sites).
Don't rustle papers, tap your pen, or make unnecessary noise.
Sit up straight to make a comment (don't lean back since this may interfere with audio pickup).
Tell the instructor or facilitator if you cannot hear or see. If necessary, wave your hand or stand up to get the instructor's attention.
Tell the instructor or facilitator immediately if you have a problem.
Tell the instructor or facilitator if you have any suggestions for making the classroom more comfortable or more effective.
