Pathways to Fluency
Today’s global economy has made learning a second or even third language more essential than ever before. AACC’s Pathways to Fluency world languages series is ideal for government employees, defense contractors, business professionals, police, emergency and medical personnel, firefighters, airport and port security personnel, active duty military and family members, educators and others.

Fluency in another language is essential for a variety of occupations and can help advance your career in others.
What is the training?
The Pathways to Fluency world language series is a comprehensive, sequenced program designed to progressively improve practical, everyday foreign language skills. The languages offered consist of two semester-long courses. Each course meets for 45 hours per semester twice a week and focuses on spoken language skills. The first two levels, Foundation and Comprehension, are offered in 4 languages: French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The third level, Mastery Level, is currently offered in Spanish and Italian.
What credentials can I earn?
Upon successful completion of both courses at a level, students earn an AACC continuing education certificate. To receive the certificate students complete and submit the form to:

French, German, Italian, or Spanish (45 hours per course per semester) - $302 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees
