Get started in a career in culinary arts! Join us for this virtual information session to learn more about our professional cooking skills and professional cake decorating training!

The demand for food service professionals in a variety of hospitality industries – hotel, catering, restaurants, cruise ships, clubs and airlines – continues to grow. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts employment of chefs and head cooks will grow 8.9% by 2024. Employment of bakers is projected to grow 5% from 2019 to 2029, faster than the average for all occupations.

Our professional cooking skills training is designed to quick-start your culinary career. Students attend class four days a week for 16 weeks. Upon successful completion of the program, students may earn a continuing education certificate and are eligible for employment as a cook. 

Students in our professional cake decorating program will practice professional standards of cake production along with developing and enhancing their cake decorating skills during a 15-week schedule. Upon successful completion of the program, students may earn a continuing education certificate.
