ACH-242 Environ Systems for Design

Explore the impacts buildings have on individuals and the environment. Assess the effects of healthy interior and exterior environments on society. Examine sustainable design principles and the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) green building rating system. Evaluate the various systems commonly used in building construction and the impact of sustainable and high performance design. Lab fee $20. Note: Also offered as ACH 242H; credit is not given for both ACH 242 and ACH 242H.
