Develop expressive and receptive fingerspelling as well as usage of numbers in ASL. Use receptive skills focusing on whole words, phrase recognition and identification of fingerspelled words in context. Develop speed, clarity and fluency. Study number usage focusing on cardinal and ordinal systems, incorporating systems and other independent classes of signs. Prerequisite: ASL 113 with a grade of C or better or permission of department chair. Note: May be taken concurrently with ASL 113 with permission of department chair.
