Analyze formal and informal systems of logic, including categorical propositions and syllogisms, propositional and natural deduction, and formal and informal fallacies. Apply methods and rules for distinguishing between sound and unsound arguments often used by writers, politicians, and scientists. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101/ENG 101A.
