Principles and practices involved in owning and operating a small business. Examine assessment of qualification for business ownership, market determination, site locations, capital and credit requirements, risk management and insurance, record-keeping and personnel management. Provides information to prospective and new small business operators. Note: Also offered as ESI 120; credit is not given for both BPA 120 and ESI 120.
