Dr. Dawn Lindsay, president of Anne Arundel Community College, released a video statement in response to the the structural racism weighing so heavily on our country right now. As a college, AACC has made a commitment to equity and inclusivity. To deepen that commitment, Dr. Lindsay shared three actions she and the college will be taking moving forward – listening, learning and educating.
“Responding to the needs of our diverse community is integral to our mission,” she said. “We have both an obligation and moral imperative to our students and our community to do so.”
