Use Microsoft Excel to study the basics of spreadsheet setup, data manipulation and program functions. Learn more advanced features including functions, charts, lists (databases), macros, World Wide Web functions, integration with other applications, validation, 3D references, data tables, scenario manager, solver, importing external data and auditing features. Use a wide variety of practical examples to foster an understanding of different ways Excel can be applied to personal and business needs. This course prepares students to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) - Excel industry certification exam (extra fee). Note: Users with no prior software applications experience are encouraged to take one of the following before taking this course: CTA 100 or CTP 103.
