Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) welcomes the opportunity to serve our active duty personnel, veterans and military families. AACC is committed to giving back to those who serve our country and we provide several real-world hands-on educational paths to develop skills for military or post-military jobs. By investing in the education of soldiers and veterans, AACC provides training and academic programs tailor-made for individuals transitioning from the military or changing careers. In addition, personal enrichment opportunities and certain education benefits are extended to spouses, dependents and civilian personnel such as summer camps and scholarship opportunities.

For the past six years, Anne Arundel Community College has been selected as a TOP SCHOOL in the 2015 MAE Guide to Colleges & Universities research study. Schools are evaluated by their achievement in military culture, financial aid, flexibility, on-campus support and online support services.

Credit for Military Experience
AACC offers a prior learning assessment for degree-seeking military service members who wish to receive credit for their military experience toward an Associate degree. AACC also provides transfer options toward completion of a four-year degree.

Military students on base at the Fort George G. Meade Army Installation can take advantage of an expanded credit course offering at Meade High School. Fall classes are available Monday through Thursday in the areas of English, math, science, history and law. AACC also offers classes online and at many different high school and off-site locations around the county, making it a convenient way to upgrade your skills for today's and tomorrow's workforce. Campus locations include AACC at Arundel Mills, Glen Burnie Town Center, and the main Arnold campus.
Among its many outreach initiatives for veterans, military personnel and their dependents, AACC staffs a Military and Veteran Resource Center on the Arnold campus in the Careers Center Building Room 107. AACC also has a campus chapter of the Student Veterans of America and an active student veteran ambassador program.
