Summer Bridge Program Overview and Benefits

This free four-week program prepares 30 selected incoming students for a comprehensive college experience that focuses on both academic and social success. Meet potential classmates — both new and current students — as well as faculty, staff and administrators. This program was designed to serve the unique needs of African-American students and with an emphasis on African-American themes.

Ask questions and get answers! Career exploration and academic activities will reveal successful strategies for social connectedness and academic preparedness. Past participants have improved their performance in English, math and reading.

Your support for college success continues as you transition to the fall term through the Student Achievement and Success Program (SASP).
