Katherine Hunt, M.S.N., RN, CPEN, RMA started at AACC as adjunct faculty in 2012 and became full time in the Medical Assisting department in 2016. Hunt has a master’s degree in Nursing Education from Walden University, a bachelor’s in nursing from Salisbury University and a Bachelor of Science in sociology from Towson University. Her nursing career focused on outpatient and inpatient pediatric care, in both a tertiary care setting and a community hospital setting. She specialized in pediatric emergency and is a certified pediatric emergency nurse. Hunt teaches classroom lectures, clinical laboratory, clinical practicum and web-based courses. She is dedicated to the success of each individual student and committed to helping each student reach his/her goals.
