ARTHUR D. EBERSBERGER

Arthur D. Ebersberger, of Severna Park, is in his 13th year as a member of the AACC Board of Trustees, with four years spent as chair of the board.

Senior vice president of CBIZ Benefits and Insurance Services Inc., he is active in community service. Ebersberger has served as chair of the board of Anne Arundel Health Systems Inc., as chair of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce board and as a member of the Maryland Economic Development Commission. While president of the Maryland Business Roundtable Foundation, he served as vice chair of the county’s Repairing and Preparing Our Schools for the 21st Century Committee.

In 1993, he founded Leadership Anne Arundel, an organization preparing informed individuals for community service, and he has served as chair of the group’s Executive Leadership Series Committee. The Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce selected him as 2003 Business Leader of the Year and he is a member of the Business Hall of Fame of Anne Arundel County. In 2008, along with Trustee Walter Wall, Ebersberger chaired the task force that reviewed the finances of Anne Arundel County at the request of the county executive.

Ebersberger earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Susquehanna University, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola College, and Certified Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from American College. He is also a Certified Insurance Consultant.
