AACC Policies
General College Policies
AACC reserves the right to change any of its policies, courses, regulations, and calendar without notice when it is considered in the best interest of the college. In the event such changes occur, the college will provide notification to students, faculty, and staff via announcements disseminated electronically and/or via printed material and in some cases, through press releases.
All students are responsible for observing all regulations and being aware of the information in the college catalog, schedule of classes, student handbook, and official announcements sent to students’ homes. College policies, the Student Conduct Code and Student Rights and Responsibilities are contained in the college catalog. These policies apply to all areas under the jurisdiction of AACC including areas where activities are sponsored by the college and areas where students of the college are guests. As guests, students will make themselves familiar with any additional regulation of the host institution.
Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act
AACC is required to comply with the federal Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act. For the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, the college must report the number of full-time, degree-seeking students enrolled in fall 2001 by gender and ethnicity and the number of students receiving athletic scholarships. View the 2008 Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act (PDF). The college also makes its crime statistics freely available in their Annual Security Report (PDF).
