GED Test Preparation Class Information

Prepare for the GED Test with this fast-paced class for students with a strong foundation in reading, math and language skills.

  • Take a 27.5-hour class to improve math test prep skills and/or take a 25-hour class to improve writing/reading test prep skills.
  • The cost for GED Prep Classes are as follows:
    • GED Math and Transition Prep (27.5hr class) - $76
    • GED Writing/Reading Prep class (25 hr class) - $69
    • Combined Math and Reading/Writing class - $130
  • The GED Math Prep class includes a class on transitioning to college.
  • As an added bonus, students enrolled in the GED Prep Class will have access to free supplemental Online GED practice materials.

Enrollment Requirements

  • Students must be age 16 or older
  • Students must have taken an ABS Orientation and Assessment, GED Practice Test or be referred by an Adult Basic Skills instructor. (This class is partially funded by a grant from Maryland Literacy Works and the U.S. Department of Education.)

  • Have you taken a GED Practice Test or Assessment with the Adult Basic Skills Program within the last 4 months?
